Qualia Focus vs Alpha Brain Which One Works Better?

  • by

Qualia Focus by Neurohacker Collective and Alpha Brain by Onnit, are 2 super popular Nootropic stacks, Maybe even two of the most well known at this point.

With that being said, you have narrowed your choices down to these two stacks and just want to know which one is better when it comes to Qualia Focus vs Alpha Brain.

If you’re in a hurry and just want to know which one I think is better then the answer is Qualia Focus.

If you want to know why I have came to this conclusion then go ahead and continue on down below.

Qualia Focus

Qualia Focus is a select product by Neurohacker Collective, designed specifically for high performance when it comes to focus, concentration, energy and mental drive.

The ingredients are placed together accordingly to provide synergy and immediate effects, by immediate I mean you can expect to feel it taking effect within 30-40 minutes.

Not only that but the company states that their product also promotes positive effects for the long term such as Neuroplasticity and Neurogenisis along with a host of other benefits.

Some of the ingredients that have caught my eye include but are not limited to the following.

Bacopa Monnieri Extract, Alpha-GPC, Uridine Monophosphate, Rhodiola Rosea root extract, L-Theanine and Huperzine A.

As you may already know Alpha-GPC and Uridine Monophosphate pair really well with each other and are key ingredients in the Mr. Happy stack if you have heard of it before.

Also the addition of Huperzine A helps slow down the breakdown of Acetylcholine which is produced from the Alpha-GPC, allowing it to last for much longer.

Alpha Brain

Alpha Brain by Onnit is an all in one cognitive enhancing Nootropic stack that has been around for some time and mentioned by a ton of people over the years.

Alpha Brain is designed to support things like memory, focus and overall cognitive processing speed.

This means it was designed to allow you to think faster, focus deeper and actually be able to retain the information you’re taking in.

The ingredients for Alpha Brain also provide a synergistic effect on one another which means they help each other last longer than normal and also feel more powerful than each ingredient on their own.

Some of the key ingredients in Alpha Brain that stand out for me include but are not limited to the following.

L-Theanine, Alpha-GPC, Huperzine A, Bacopa Monnieri extract and L-Tyrosine.

L-Theanine is commonly used to promote a feeling of relaxation and a sense of well being.

The combination of Alpha-GPC and Huperzine A are once again included in Alpha Brain just like Qualia Focus and you already know the synergy for that.

Lastly Bacopa Monnieri which is a very popular ingredient in a lot of Nootropic stacks is also included with Alpha Brain, and Qualia Focus.

Similarities

Both support overall cognition

Both Qualia Focus and Alpha Brain are designed to improve overall cognitive functioning and work in a synergistic way to get the job done.

Both are made to provide a flow state

Both Alpha Brain and Qualia Focus can produce a flow like state where you’re able to be in the zone so to speak and be able to easily put away distractions while you accomplish what actually matters at the moment like getting your tasks for the day done.

Both are quite expensive

A standard bottle of Alpha Brain costs $60 and a standard bottle of Qualia Focus costs $70, both giving you a month’s supply if you follow the recommended serving size on a daily basis.

With that being said, you can always reduce the cost per month by taking less at a time or by buying with a subscription to either product.

Both share some of the same compounds

Below are the ingredients that you can find in either Qualia Focus or Alpha Brain.

L-Theanine

L-Tyrosine

Difference in Caffeine content

Qualia Focus has a total caffeine content of 129mg’s per serving where as Alpha Brain has zero caffeine.

Difference in pricing

Qualia Focus costs $70 for 1 bottle of 20 servings which comes out to $3.50 per serving or $0.70 per capsule.

Alpha Brain costs $60 per bottle of 30 servings which comes out to $2.00 per serving or $1.00 per capsule

Qualia Focus serving size is 5 capsules and Alpha Brain’s is 2 capsules just so you know why the math comes out this way.

Final Verdict

It is my personal opinion that Qualia Focus is better than Alpha Brain because it has a lot more ingredients packed into the stack that I actually use and like such as Rhodiola Rosea and Uridine Monophosphate.

Plus Qualia Focus has an actual caffeine content included unlike Alpha Brain and I like my caffeine.

For myself the price isn’t an issue but if you want something a bit cheaper then Alpha Brain is not bad.
